We recommend editing products directly in the Verisart App wherever possible. Metafields/ Metadata should only be used if you need to do a bulk upload or have custom requirements.
Shopify
Metafields are additional data that can be attached to Shopify products. Use Shopify Metafields for more advanced or automated integration such as batch uploading CSVs of data, or configuring third-party Shopify management tools to use with Verisart.
WooCommerce
Metadata are additional data that can be attached to WooCommerce products and can be added via attributes. You can learn how to manage attributes in WooCommerce's Managing Product Categories, Tags and Attributes.
