Setting and receiving royalties

NFTs can enable creators to receive royalties on the subsequent sales of their works. If you mint NFTs on Verisart, you can receive royalties from OpenSea, Rarible and other EIP-2981 standard-compatible platforms.

Below is an overview of how royalties work on different platforms.

Verisart Contract

Custom Contract

OpenSea

Royalties set to 10% and distributed monthly by Verisart

Royalties set by you and we recommend you configure them on OpenSea.

Rarible

Set by you in the Verisart minting form. Select preferred wallet to receive royalties.

Other EIP-2981 compatible platforms

Set by you in the Verisart minting form. Select preferred wallet to receive royalties.

Royalties on the Verisart contract

OpenSea

  • Indicate the wallet address where you want to receive royalties.

  • The royalties are set at 10% and are payouts occur in bulk every month

Rarible & other EIP-2981 compatible platforms

  • Indicate the royalties percentage and wallet address where you want to receive them


Royalties on custom contracts

OpenSea

If you have deployed a custom contract, you must configure your royalties on OpenSea to receive royalties from secondary sales on that marketplace.

Rarible & other EIP-2981 compatible platforms

Enter the royalties percentage and preferred wallet address to receive royalties.
