Steps to Create a Collaboration Certificate
‼️ Important
Verisart will manually assist with setting up collaboration certificates.
Each creator involved must have their identity verified on Verisart before the collaboration can be created.
Step 1: Establish the certificate issuer
Before setting up a collaboration, identify who will issue the certificates:
Represented by a gallery or business
Please note, with this option the certificate issuer must be on a Pro plan to create a "represents" relationship for the creator collaboration.
All creators in the collaboration must:
Have their identities verified.
Grant authorization to the gallery or business.
Once this is completed, Verisart will manually combine the artist names into a collaboration
Learn more here:
Certificates issued by the (collaboration) creators
A new Verisart account must be created for the collaboration.
Each creator must verify their identity separately and create individual creator profiles.
Once verified, a new can be created using the collaboration name
Refer to these guides for detailed instructions:
Step 2: Creator Setup
All creators must have their identities verified separately before setting up the collaboration.
Represented by a gallery or business
If creators are represented by a gallery or business, they will receive an email from Verisart prompting them to set up their account.
Receive an email from Verisart: Creators will receive a setup email from Verisart.
Sign up or log in: Creators can create a free Verisart account.
3. Complete identity verification:
Review and update the information provided by the gallery.
Upload a signature image (optional).
Complete the identity verification process.
If certificates are issued by the (collaboration) creators themselves:
All members of the collaboration must verify their identities individually by creating free Verisart accounts and completing the standard identity verification process.
Verify identity individually: Each creator must:
Create a free Verisart account.
Complete the standard identity verification process.
Refer to Adding and updating your signature for assistance.
Create a collaborative Verisart account:
Use a unique email address that differs from individual creator accounts.
Go to Settings, then select Add Creator in the "Account" section.
Fill in the collaborative name in the "First" and "Last" name fields.
Use the "Year of birth" field to represent the year the collaboration was formed
Upload a collaborative signature (if available):
Upload a PNG file of the collaborative logo or combined signatures.
If no signature is provided, Verisart will use the individual creator signatures from the seperate profiles.
Submit ID for verification: Verisart will manually review and approve the collaborative account.

Note: If the collaboration name is different from the individual creator names, Verisart may request additional verification.
Step 3: Inform Verisart
Once all creators are set up and verified, notify Verisart to proceed with the collaboration setup.
Contact Verisart:
Email support@verisart.com with the names of all creators involved.
Verisart will cross-reference this information.
Provide collaboration details:
Specify how the collaboration name should appear (e.g., [Creator 1] x [Creator 2]).
If you haven't added a collaboration signature, please indicate the signature format.
If no collaborative signature is provided, Verisart will use the standard format:
[Creator 1 signature] [Creator 2 signature] (from individual profiles).
This ensures your collaboration certificate reflects your preferences accurately
